Welcome
The Board of Directors of the Virginia College Fund and the students, staffs and faculties of its independent member colleges and universities welcome you to its 2008-2009 website. The Virginia College Fund, established in 1965, provides a convenient way for the corporate, foundation and private citizen to demonstrate a continuing commitment to the maintenance of a strong educational system in Virginia and to encourage and pursue growth in academic excellence. You are invited to join us in this worthy pursuit. You will be glad you did!

Funding
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit Virginia corporation, all gifts to the Fund are deductible for federal and state tax purposes. Of the funds collected, 75 percent are divided equally among the participating member institutions and 25 percent are apportioned according to full-time undergraduate enrollment. An independent, certified audit, available upon request, is prepared annually. And, we are a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity!
