The Virginia College Fund was established in 1965 to help Virginia's private colleges and universities provide affordable educational opportunities for its students. The Board of Directors of the Virginia College Fund and the students, staffs, and faculties of its independent member colleges and universities invite you to join us in this worthy pursuit. We are happy you are visiting with us today!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit Virginia corporation, all gifts to the Fund are deductible for federal and state tax purposes. Of the funds collected, 75 percent are divided equally among the participating member institutions and 25 percent are apportioned according to full-time undergraduate enrollment. An independent, certified audit, available upon request, is prepared annually. And, we are a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity! Last year, with your help, the Virginia College Fund distributed over $700,000 to its member colleges, the vast majority of which is being used for financial aid for needy, worthy Virginia students. Since its founding, almost $20 Million has been raised. Literally thousands of students have been enabled to pursue their dreams for a better life through a college degree because of that help. They, and we, are most humbled by and thankful for your participation.
